The UK Conservative Party is the United Kingdom's version of the Republican National Committee. During the last campaign of Margaret Thatcher, we provided marketing council on how to position Ms. Thatcher to the English population.

Her scores were in decline and polls showed she was losing the race. We conducted a sophisticated statistical analysis (using clustering and regression techniques and meta-analysis) of all the polls previously executed by the UK Conservative Party and evaluated the importance and her appeal on about twenty issues. We determined the perceptions that were strengths or weaknesses.

We then applied the "Ronald Regan" strategy, finding a common value that connects to the most important issues but rises above the specific stance on any issue. Ultimately, we determined a new BrandPoint for Ms. Thatcher, they then changed the strategy of the campaign and she was re-elected.
