Brad is
the Managing Partner and co-founder of SagePoint Consulting.
Brad is a
classically-trained Brand Manager with “in-the-trench”
General Management experience and the strategic savvy of a
Consultant. But his greatest passion is creating new
businesses and new ideas and has the battle scars of many an
entrepreneurial effort.
His value
as a consultant stems from the application of his broad
range of experience, including marketing, new products,
engineering, finance, and business development in industries
including packaged goods, technology, education, financial
services, recreation, travel, retail and consumer
electronics. He has worked in many business environments
from Fortune 500’s to startups, and from B2B to B2C.
He
specializes in Brand Strategy (not only as a consultant, but
as an author and lecturer as well) and Idea Development.
Prior to
starting SagePoint, Brad was the Vice President of
Consulting for Euro RSCG and has consulted on business and
marketing strategy for numerous clients including Intel,
Kodak, Ask Jeeves, FranklinCovey, BlackBerry, OSI, and
Maxtor.
Brad’s
lifelong entrepreneurial passions have prompted him to
start, or co-found, many companies going back to his days in
high school, including most notably the technology company
Ysource Inc. (a secondary education ASP and social
networking site for high school students), raising more than
$7MM in venture capital and employing 55 employees.
He also
served as Chief Marketing Officer and EVP for Powdr Corp, a
private-equity company with interests in the travel,
recreation and technology arenas.
His
corporate career maps his rise though the brand management
ranks at PepsiCo culminating with his responsibility for New
Concept Development, reporting directly to the President of
Frito-Lay. His inventions for PepsiCo are still raking in
billions of dollars to this day.
Before
business school Brad consulted for Wirthlin Worldwide (now
part of Harris) for clients including GM, Fidelity, Corning,
Saturn, and most notably for history the UK Conservative
Party.
Brad is

Business teaching advanced brand strategy and is the author
