Archived Innovation

Innovation is the magic elixir or business.  Innovation can turn a three-cent sticker into something worth $300 in profit.

When Intel developed the Intel Inside sticker they turned a three-cent sticker into an item that allowed them to sell Intel computers for a $300 premium.

However, Innovation is a bit like the turbo button on your Xbox controller.  If your pointed in the right direction the turbo button will help you do what you need to do faster and better than ever before.  But if your innovation is pointed in the wrong direction it will only slam you in the wall faster and more aggressively than if you had no innovation at all.

Developing Innovation for the sake of Innovation is wasteful and potentially dangerous to the brand.

SagePoint of View

Innovation is like the TURBO button on your game controller.

It can do magic or just slam you into the wall faster.
