Professional Bio - Brad McLaws

Brad is a classically-trained Brand Manager, with the
in-the-trenches experience of a General
Manager, the visionary zeal of an Entrepreneur, and the strategic savvy of a
Consultant.
His broad interdisciplinary experience includes marketing, new products, finance, and business development in industries including packaged goods, technology, education, financial services, recreation, travel, retail and consumer electronics.
Currently Brad is Managing Partner of SagePoint Consulting. Where he has consulted for clients including, PepsiCo, T-Mobile, Mr. Field's, ClearPlay, Cimetrix, Fellows, and Debt-Free.
Previously,
he was the Vice President of Consulting at Euro RSCG. In this role he lead business consulting efforts for
his division of the company.
He consulted companies on marketing strategy, corporate vision, brand
development, sales and corporate identity. His
clients included Intel, Kodak, InFocus, FranklinCovey, Ask Jeeves, OSI, Red Hat,
Maxtor, ProLiteracy and Blackberry.
Prior to this position, Brad co-founded and built Ysource Inc. (a secondary education ASP), raising more than $7MM in venture capital and employing 55 employees.
His post-MBA career started at PepsiCo and maps his rise though the brand management, advertising, finance, new products, and business development positions in multiple divisions of the company culminating with his responsibility for New Concept Development, reporting directly to the President of Frito-Lay.
Prior to Brad's MBA, he consulted for clients including, GM, Corning, Saturn, Fidelity Investments, Mitsubishi and the Conservative Party of England.
Brad also teaches Advanced Brand Strategy at the Marriott Graduate School of Business at Brigham Young University and is author of the forthcoming book, What's the Point!, a book about how to find and leverage your businesses BrandPoint.
